Russian and LPR troops blocked the Lisichansk-Artemovsk highway and completely closed the cauldron around Lisichansk, LPR ambassador to Russia Rodion Miroshnik wrote on his Telegram channel on June 30.
“As of today, all more or less significant roads from and to Lisichansk are under the control of the Russian and LPR troops. The Lisichansk – Artemovsk highway, which was previously under fire control, is now completely blocked. All attempts to leave the resulting … cauldron are now impossible,” Miroshnyk noted.
The other day the Ukrainian army grouping near Lisichansk faced the threat of encirclement, when the Russian troops came to the positions from which the Lisichansk – Artemovsk highway was under full fire control.
