The joint forces of Russia and Lugansk People’s Republic took control over a gelatin factory and a mine, Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Marochko of the LPR People’s Militia told reporters on June 25.

“At the moment, the mine, which is located on the territory of the city of Lisichansk, has already been seized, and our units have entered the so-called gelatin factory,” Marochko noted.

Earlier, the allied troops of the Russian Federation and the LPR approached Lisichansk and began fighting within the city limits.

According to Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, almost all towns and villages around Lisichansk and Severodonetsk were liberated. Taking control over Lisichansk will mean the complete liberation of the LPR from Ukrainian militants.
