The ambassador of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) to the Russian Federation Rodion Miroshnik confirmed the surrender of members of the Aidar nationalist battalion (organization banned in Russia) together with their leaders on June 19.
“In the suburb of Severodonetsk, in Metelkino, the surrender of the Nazis, together with their leaders, has been confirmed. The village has been completely mopped up,” Miroshnik wrote on his Telegram channel.
Earlier it was reported about the surrender of several Ukrainian fighters, including one of the commanders, with reference to a source in the defense ministry. Ukrainian neo-Nazis blocked at the Azot plant are also expressing their readiness to negotiate.
