The Russian military and LPR People’s Militia forces have already entered Lisichansk, the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov said on May 25 via his Telegram channel.
Kadyrov published a video message where he discusses the progress of the Russian military special operation to protect Donbass.
“Very good combat tasks being part of the special operations in Lugansk, Donetsk are being carried out. The best servicemen of the [Russian] Defense Ministry, the National Guard of Russia and the LPR People’s Militia are involved there. They have almost entered Severodonetsk, and they are already in Lisichansk,” Kadyrov said.
He added that the enemy is suffering losses and panicking, which always happens when “a man is wrong or the state is wrong.”
Earlier, the DPR head Denis Pushilin said that the liberation of Krasny Liman is expected in the coming days, more than half of the city has already come under the control of the DPR forces and the Russian military.
In the past few days, the liberation of the towns of Svetlodarsk, Luganskoye and Mironovskoye in the DPR, as well as the village of Toshkovskoye in the LPR has also been reported.
