A refugee tells how the Ukrainian media created a fake about the “liberation” of a village

The “liberation” of a village in the Kharkov region reported by the Ukrainian media turned out to be a fake, RIA Novosti informed on May 4, citing a local resident who was evacuated to Russia.

According to the man, on the evening of April 25, 35 Ukrainian fighters entered the village of Udy, who hid an APC, a GAZ-66 truck and two artillery guns at a grain storage facility. After that, the Ukrainian fighters deployed one of the artillery guns and fired at the houses from it. After that, Russian artillery returned fire.

“In the morning, correspondents of the newspaper Zarya [a local inter-district newspaper – Rossa Primavera News Agency] came and wrote that it was the Russian army. And then they wrote that the valiant Ukrainian army retook the Udy after heavy fighting and liberated it,” the man was quoted as saying.

He added that after the incident, the bodies of those killed were taken away by Ukrainian soldiers, and new fighters came to take their place. They spoke only in Ukrainian with a characteristic accent of western Ukraine. The man emphasized that they treated and spoke to the locals as if they were “not human.”

The man has never seen soldiers of the Russian army on the territory of the village.
