Servicemen of the LPR People’s Militia together with the Russian Armed Forces continue to liberate Popasnaya from Ukrainian punitive forces. The city is constantly subjected to artillery fire by the Ukrainian fighters.

During a conversation with a Rossa Primavera News Agency‘s correspondent, an LPR People’s Militia serviceman with the call sign “Maks” described how Ukrainian Nazis are using the civilians as ‘human shield’, locking them in cellars, and not letting them out.

“Maks” noted that the situation is tense: the enemy is constantly entrenching itself near houses and has to be dislodged out of there.

“Our morale is at the highest level, we are beating the enemy slowly but steadily,” the soldier concluded.
