The West goes furious when it sees that it has a real competitor capable of playing a historical game, political scientist, philosopher, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on April 20 on The Great Game program on Channel One Russia.
He explained that Western civilization has never been unified: there was Rome with its idea of domination, and there was Greece. “This is an ancient and incredibly powerful internal conflict,” the political scientist stressed.
“When Russia said about the third Rome, took some symbols of Byzantium – when it took some of its spirit, fortunately, in a modified form – from that very moment it became the main enemy for the West. Because the West always wants to be a monopolist when it comes to history,” Kurginyan explained.
According to Kurginan, when they see that the West has a rival which is also ready to play this historic game, “they become furious.”
“And now these ‘Sarmats’ [The RS-28 Sarmat MIRV-equipped super-heavy ICBM, sometimes unofficially referred to in the West as “Satan II” – translator’s note]… – what is this again? This Russian military-technical genius has been lurking somewhere and shows it up now, and has created something. And what they are stunned at? That it was on the same level as Wernher von Braun and his followers. They did not believe that this was even possible,” said Kurginyan.
The West hates Russia more than China, or the Islamic world, or anything else, because the West sees no rivals in them, the expert believes. “And in this one place where– sorry, I don’t want any racism – such white Christian humanity remains, they perceive it as a huge danger,” he concluded.
On April 20, the Russian Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile was successfully launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome. Russian leader Vladimir Putin said about the missile that it would have no rivals in the world for a long time to come and that it would make those “who in the heat of frenzied aggressive rhetoric are trying to threaten our country” think twice.
