Medvedev calls Poland a loyal vassal of the United States

25.03.2022, Moscow.

In an interview with RIA Novosti on March 25, deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev called Poland a loyal vassal of the United States, which shows itself to be the main bulwark of the United States in Europe.

“Poland is not just a loyal vassal to the United States of America, which shows its loyalty in every way, shows that it is the main bulwark of the United States in Europe,” Medvedev said.

By showing support for the United States and receiving economic and political dividends from Washington, Poland is trying to “take revenge for the failures for, perhaps, not even decades, but for centuries,” recalling that “at one time they were a very serious player in the world, in Europe, and, in fact, claimed the laurels of an empire.”

“The current Polish elites – they are represented by this very PiS party led by Kaczyński No. 2, they have been pursuing this pro-US and absolutely unrestrained Russophobic course for the last ten years,” Medvedev said.

On March 23, 2022, Warsaw announced the expulsion of 45 Russian diplomats from the country, accusing them of espionage. Earlier, the Polish Foreign Minister also announced the possible expulsion of the Russian ambassador from the country, for which a decision has not yet been made. In addition, Poland is trying to take over the Russian real estate in Warsaw.
