Kurginyan: In West’s game Ukraine is a piece to sacrifice

14.03.2022, Moscow.

In the West’s strategic game, Ukraine is an exchange piece, and its current resistance is only necessary to increase the number of victims and raise the hysteria, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on The Great Game on Channel One.

In the Great Game in the sense British writer Rudyard Kipling used this term, Ukraine today for the West is “a piece to sacrifice for appropriate gain at other directions,” Kurginyan said.

According to Kurginyan, the current resistance of Ukraine, where civilians are held hostages, “has nothing to do with victory or defeat.” The political scientist noted that the West only needs it “to raise hysteria in the West.”

“The idea is that as many people as possible need to be killed. The more people are killed, civilian or any other, it does not matter as anyone has a family… To make a more negative climate around this. This detention has no other sense,” the political scientist explained.

Kurginyan believes that the West plans to further escalate the situation in order “to make a festering abscess out of it,” with which Russia will have to deal for a long time.
