Russian President Vladimir Putin called to assist volunteers willing to voluntarily go to Ukraine and take part in a special operation on 11 March during a meeting with members of the Russian Security Council.

The Russian president recalled that Western sponsors of Ukrainian Nazis are actively sending mercenaries to the zone of military special operations in Ukraine.

“If you see that there are people who want to come on a voluntary basis, especially not for money, and help people living in Donbass – well, we should meet their wishes and help them move to the war zone,” he said.

In addition, the leader of the state instructed Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu to prepare a separate report on the strengthening of Russia’s western borders in connection with NATO’s actions.
