The current Kiev regime will not surrender to Russia, because this would be dangerous for its members, said political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on the air of The Great Game program on Channel One on March 6.
“My forecast is that they will not surrender. They will not surrender as they would have no benefit from this,” Kurginyan said answering a question of a journalist from the DPR.
According to Kurginyan, the primary problem is any security guarantees for anyone who would want to surrender to Russia. He would be in danger not from the Russian troops, but from his Ukrainian accomplices.
The political scientist explained that if a Ukrainian army serviceman is on territory under Russian army control, he will surrender because he will feel safe. On Ukrainian territory, in contrast, this situation is absolutely different.
“Now they are sitting there. If any one of them says he wants to surrender he will be executed! Immediately, believe me,” the political scientist stressed.
Kurginyan referred to the example of Denis Kireev, a participant of the first talks with Russia in Gomel, who was recently killed by Ukrainian Security Service operatives while resisting arrest. The expert explained that this was a “black mark” from those who control the Ukrainian situation to all their “colleagues.”
“Therefore, [by this act] they are saying, ‘If anyone at the talks, even one of us, drifts in a direction we do not approve, we will not deal with him, we will not remove him from the talks, we will not imprison him ― we will just kill him!’ This is a kind of a criminal style,” the political scientist revealed the meaning of the murder of Kireev.
According to the political scientist, the profound dependence from the West can be clearly read in the faces of the Ukrainian officials, and this is why they cannot surrender. And they have no place to flee, because they will be found in the West.
The armies of the DPR and the LPR supported by the Russian army continue to encircle the main Ukrainian army force in Donbass near Kramatorsk. According to experts, the force is up to 150 thousand servicemen.
As of March 6, the Russian army had destroyed over 2.1 thousand military targets on the Ukrainian territory. Almost all the combat-capable aircraft of the Ukrainian air force has been destroyed.
