Rossa Primavera News Agency publishes a summary of events in Ukraine as of 5 p.m. on March 6.
On the evening of March 5, a massive strike was delivered against 61 military infrastructure facilities of the Ukrainian army, including 22 pieces of weapons and military equipment in an underground shelter, a brigade command post, 9 ammunition and materiel depots, and 3 radar posts.
On the morning of March 6, high-precision, long-range weapons strike was delivered. The airfield of the Air Force of Ukraine in Starokonstantinov was disabled.
The Vinnitsa airfield, where the 456th Mixed Independent Aviation Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Force was based, was attacked.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian Air Force fighter aviation and air defense forces shot down four Su-27 and one MiG-29 aircraft near Zhytomyr, Su-27 and Su-25 near Radomyshl, one Su-25 near Nezhyn, two Mi-8 helicopters near Kyiv, and six drones, including the Bayraktar TB-2.
Kiev direction
In Ovruch, an air strike was carried out against a military unit at the intersection of Taras Shevchenko Street and Geroiv Maidana Street.
There is fighting in the residential complex “Cheshsky Dvor” in Gostomel.
Kharkov direction
In Kharkov, there are explosions in the north and east of the city. Sources report that there was an airstrike at the location from where the Ukrainian army’s artillery was firing. One of the targets of the night strikes in Kharkov was the building of the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine.
Airstrikes were carried out at the military unit 3017 in the village of Zhukovsky in Kharkov, where the 3rd operational brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine was based.
The operational encirclement of Kharkiv is not yet complete. The Ukrainian army and National Security Forces continue to move reinforcements across the southwestern highway. Another group of foreign mercenaries arrived on the northeastern outskirts of the city at the Equator shopping mall.
The civilians are being taken out by merchants via the railroad and the highway to Zmiev.
The Russian Armed Forces control the Chuguev connection with Kharkov and the southeastern entrance to Malinovka.
Heavy combat for Izyum is underway, southeast of Kharkov. MANPADS operators and sniper pairs are stationed in the residential areas of the city.
Zaporozhzhye direction
Units of the Russian Armed Forces took control of the villages of Priyutnoye, Zavitne-Bazhannya, Staromlinovka, Oktyabrskoye and Novomayskoye during the offensive. The advance totaled 11 kilometers.
Southern direction
The head of the Nikolaev administration reported an attack by the Russian Armed Forces from the direction of Kulbakino.
There is a shortage of food, medicine, clothing and other essential goods in Nikolaev. A large part of the stores are closed.
Liberation of the LPR and DPR
A group of LPR troops, continuing their offensive, took control of the villages and towns of Rubtsy, Karpovka, Makeevka, Novolyubovka, Lipovoye, Srednee, Zelenaya Dolina, Zakablukhovka, Kryakovka, Kamenka, Industrialnoye, Sukhanovka, Borovenki, Golikovo and Nevskoye. Fifty-four settlements are currently under full control of the LPR.
Units of the DPR armed forces have established control over Peredovoye, Karyernoye and Ravnopol.
The DPR People’s Militia units are conducting successful offensives on the western and northwestern outskirts of Mariupol. The Stary Krym residential area was taken under control.
On the Mariupol direction, DPR forces destroyed an Ukrainian army’s convoy and seized Uragan multiple rocket launchers.
The Mariupol authorities decided to let people out of the city via a humanitarian corridor. It will take the route Mariupol – Portovskoye – Mangush – Respublika – Rozovka – Pology – Orekhov – Zaporozhzhye. Three evacuation points have been opened in the city. Fighting in the Mariupol direction will be suspended from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
As of 13:30, more than 300 people have already been evacuated from Mariupol and its suburbs, despite provocations by Ukrainian nationalists – DPR territorial defense headquarters.
Situation in the republics
Over the past 24 hours, 15 civilians were wounded, including six from territories liberated by the DPR. 14 houses and 16 civil infrastructure objects on the Gorlovka and Donetsk directions were damaged. The Ukrainian army opened fire on the territory of the republic 38 times, firing 226 rounds of ammunition. The enemy used 122 mm artillery, 120 mm and 82 mm mortars.
Donetsk
Kievsky district of Donetsk was shelled. There was a direct hit to kindergarten No. 392 in the Kievsky district, the city children’s hospital was damaged. A 45-years-old woman born and a 58-years-old man were injured. The administration of the Kievsky district and residential buildings were damaged.
Makeevka
The Chervonogvardeyskiy district of Makeevka was shelled, residential buildings were damaged.

Dokuchayevsk

The shelling from 120 mm mortars was reported on the direction of Opytnoye village – Spartak village.
Vinogradnoye
A 67-years-old man was wounded by mortar fire in the previously liberated village of Vinogradnoye.
The LPR
Stakhanov Ferroalloy Plant suffered damage as a result of artillery shelling of the village of Stakhanov.
As a result of the shelling of the town of Pervomaysk from the direction of Popasnaya village from 152 mm artillery guns, 8 residential buildings and a gas pipeline were damaged.
As a result of artillery shelling of Kirovsk, 10 houses were damaged.
As a result of artillery shelling of Kalinovo settlement, 5 houses and about 10 monuments at the cemetery were damaged. Also, 454 subscribers were left without power supply as a result of damage to the Rossiya-10kV substation.
Political situation

The US is studying a deal under which Poland could provide Ukraine with Soviet-era aircraft in return for getting US F-16 fighter jets, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing unnamed US officials.
