06.03.2022, Lugansk.

Intelligence units of the LPR recorded hostilities between the Ukrainian Nationalist battalions and the Ukrainian Army, said Lieutenant Colonel of the LPR People’s Militia Andrey Marochko, RIA Novosti reported on March 6.

Around 12:00 p.m. [Moscow time – Rossa Primavera News Agency], our intelligence recorded a shootout between the National Battalions and Ukrainian Army units. It was taking place in the town of Lisichansk,” Marochko said.

He also noted that in Lisichansk, Severodonetsk and Rubezhnoye, which are currently under the control of the Kiev authorities, there are fragmented units of the Ukrainian nationalist battalions and the Ukrainian army, which act without a joint command.

In the morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch of a special military operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine. Putin called on the Ukrainian servicemen not to follow the criminal orders of the Kiev command and to lay down their arms.

The Russian Defense Ministry emphasized that the Russian Armed Forces do not carry out air or artillery strikes against civilian infrastructure or residential buildings. High-precision weapons are used to strike military infrastructure, air defense targets, and military airfields.

Simultaneously with the start of the Russian Armed Forces’ operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine, units of the People’s Militia of the LPR and DPR took the offensive to liberate the territories previously occupied by Kiev.

During several days, the Republics’ units advanced more than 70 km deep into the Ukrainian army defense.
