The Telecom Srbija operator has resumed the broadcasting of the RT and the RT Documentary channels in cable networks, RT distribution director in Europe and Africa Sasha Savichevich said on March 4.
Thus, the broadcasting of RT in Serbia has been resumed, Savichevich explained.
However, the SBB operator, which could resume the broadcasting technically, did not do so, the RT representative stressed.
On March 2, the EU banned RT blocking its communication through the European satellites. The SBB operator, associated with the former CIA director David Petraeus, also blocked RT.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the ban made it “absolutely clear what the real, but not declarative, value of the so-called Western values is.”
In addition to RT, the Sputnik agency was also blocked in the EU.
