Progress of the liberation of Ukraine. Rossa Primavera News Agency’s report on March 4 (5:00 pm)

04.03.2022, Moscow.

The Rossa Primavera News Agency publishes a summary of events in Ukraine as of 5 p.m. on March 4.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s statements about the alleged threat to the nuclear power plant and his talks with Washington and London leave no doubt that the purpose of the Kiev regime’s provocation at the nuclear facility is an attempt to accuse Russia of creating a hotbed of radiation contamination.

All this testifies to the criminal intent of the Kiev regime or to Zelensky’s complete loss of control over the actions of Ukrainian sabotage groups involving foreign mercenaries, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

The Russian side is creating the necessary conditions for a peaceful and safe life in all the liberated territories and providing unimpeded access to any humanitarian aid to the population.

Since the start of the special military operation more than 149,000 people have been evacuated from danger zones, including 40,629 children, of whom 5,855 have been evacuated in the past 24 hours, including 1,670 children. A total of 16,441 civil cars crossed the Russian border, of which 1,195 during the day. Their passage was allowed under the simplified scheme – without hindrance.

Near Kiev, combat resumed – local residents publish footage of the fire in the village of Sofievskaya Borshchagovka.

Telegram channel Rybar reported that an elite Ukrainian special unit, which is not intended for participation in general military operations, departed from Lvov for the combat zone.

Kharkov direction

At the entrance to the village of Alekseevka to the west of Balakleya, the Ukrainian army has equipped positions. They are located on the territory of the monument “Alexeyevskaya fortress”.

Kharkov is operationally encircled, and the main routes and exits are controlled by the Russian army. It is possible to leave the city by civilian cars and railroad transport, but only for civilians. It is not possible to enter the city.

Colonel General Mizintsev, the head of the National Defense Management Center of the Russian Federation, reported that yesterday, at the request of the Russian side, the Kiev authorities provided the contact of an allegedly responsible official in Kharkov, who was supposed to assist in the withdrawal of civilians and foreigners to Russian territory and provide a humanitarian corridor. The official said, “I’m not holding them, let them go where they want.”

Volchansk residents lined up in long lines for humanitarian aid. But, according to the locals, they cannot receive it: the head of the administration, Anatoly Stepanets, has refused assistance from the Russian military.

Zaporozhzhye direction

On March 4, around 2 a.m., while patrolling the protected area adjacent to the Zaporozhzhye nuclear power plant, a mobile Rosgvardiya patrol was attacked by a Ukrainian sabotage group. To provoke a return fire on the building, a barrage of small arms fire was fired at the servicemen of the National Guard of Russia from the windows of several floors of the training complex located outside the power plant.

A Russian patrol responded with small arms fire, suppressing the Ukrainian saboteurs’ firing points in the building of the training complex. On leaving the building, a Ukrainian saboteur group set fire to the training building. Fire crews arrived at the building and extinguished the fire. At the time of the provocation, none of the power plant’s regular employees were in the training building, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

The nuclear power plant in Energodar came under Russian control. The plant’s personnel continue to work in a normal mode, servicing the nuclear power plant facilities.

Southern direction

In the morning there was a strike on the military depots in Ochakov.

The administration of Nikolaev reported combat to the south of the city near the village of Galitsynovo and the Balabanovka microdistrict. It is reported that units of the 123rd brigade of the territorial defense of the Ukrainian army are stationed there.
