Russian Defense Ministry: 1,146 Ukrainian military infrastructure targets destroyed

The number of military infrastructure targets that the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed has reached 1,146, Spokesman of the Russian Defense Ministry Major General Igor Konashenkov said at a briefing in the evening of February 28.

“Since the beginning of the special operation, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 1,146 targets of the Ukrainian military structure, including 31 control and communication centers, 81 S-300, Buk-M1, and Osa air defense missile systems, and 75 radars,” Konashenkov said.

The Russian Air Force has destroyed six Ukrainian armored convoys. 311 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 42 airplanes and helicopters (including those on the ground), 51 multiple-launch rocket systems, 147 field branch artillery weapons and mortars, 263 special military vehicles have been destroyed.

According to Konashenkov, the LPR group continued its offensive throughout the day towards Kremennoye, and it has made an advance of another three kilometers. The units of the DPR army made an advance of 16 kilometers over 24 hours taking Zamozhnoye under their control.

“110 more Ukrainian servicemen voluntarily laid down their arms over the past 24 hours,” Konashenkov added.
