Four people killed by Ukrainian army’s shelling of Gorlovka

Four civilians were killed by Ukrainian army’s shelling of Gorlovka, the town’s mayor Ivan Prikhodko wrote on his Telegram channel on February 28.

According to Prikhodko, the Ukrainian army also wounded 10 people in the town. From early morning, punitive forces have been shelling the town aiming at civilian buildings. They have damaged the town of Mine 6/7, School No. 15, and the Kerammash plant.

According to DPR representatives to the Joint Center for Control and Cooperation of Ceasefire, the Ukrainian army shelled the town of Gagarin Mine in the western part of Gorlovka as well as the villages of Zaytsevo, Yuzhnoye, and Panteleymonovka.

The shelling severely damaged apartment blocks in western Gorlovka, and some shells hit right in apartments.
