Ukrainian nationalists killed four Ukrainian army officers in Lugansk region to stop their retreat, Spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Igor Konashenkov said on February 27.
According to Konashenkov, in Severodonetsk, nationalists act as retreat-blocking detachments trying to stop the retreat of the Ukrainian army threatening with executions.
“The nationalist retreat-blocking detachments killed 4 officers of the Ukrainian army,” Konashenkov stressed.
According to a report by the Public Relations Centre of the Federal Security Service of Russia of February 26, Ukrainian nationalists executed a serviceman of the Ukrainian army who tried to cross the Russian border “to escape participation in the hostilities.” A Russian border guard was wounded in the same incident.
On February 27, Konashenkov said that the servicemen of the 302nd anti-aircraft missile system regiment voluntarily surrendered, and they would be sent to their families.
