Putin: Leading NATO countries support neo-Nazis in Ukraine

24.02.2022, Moscow.

To achieve their own goals, leading NATO countries support extreme nationalists and neo-Nazis, who will never forgive Crimeans and Sevastopol residents their free choice, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an urgent address to Russian citizens on February 24.

“The leading NATO countries, in order to achieve their own goal, support in everything in Ukraine extreme nationalists and neo-Nazis, who, in turn, will never forgive Crimeans and Sevastopol residents their free choice to reunite with Russia,” Putin said.

“They will, of course, penetrate into Crimea, and just as they did in Donbass, with their own method, in order to kill, as the punitive gangs of Ukrainian nationalists – Hitler’s accomplices during the Great Patriotic War – killed defenseless people,” Putin declared.

On February 24, Putin announced the launch of an operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine. The aim of the operation is to protect the population of the DPR and LPR, which has been subjected to mockery and genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years.
