Head of the DPR: Ukraine prepares chemical weapons for dropping from UAVs

24.12.2021, Moscow.

Chemical weapons in Ukraine were packaged for dropping it from an unmanned aerial vehicle, the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushylin said on the Russia 24 TV channel on December 23.

An antidote was initially delivered to Ukraine, Pushilin said, “then this chemical weapon was packaged, if I may say so, in such a way that it can also be dropped from an unmanned aerial vehicle, and Ukraine frequently used drones [for dropping bombs] in recent times.”

Ukraine has never left an opportunity to solve the situation in Donbass by force, Pushilin said. Today Ukraine is closer than ever to such actions in Donbass.

On December 21, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, at a meeting of the Ministry of Defense board, said that the US PMC was preparing for a provocation in Donbass with the use of chemical weapons.

Shoigu said that there were more than 120 employees of the US PMC in Pryazovskoye and Avdeevka villages. They delivered containers with unspecified chemical substances to the area of Krasnyy Liman and Avdeevka.

On the same day, the Pentagon rejected accusations of preparing a provocation using chemical weapons against DPR residents.
