Kurginyan: A rigid governance structure in Russia would rise up against its creators

18.12.2021, Moscow.

If the governance structure in Russia will become more rigid it would be deadly for those who put it in place, said political scientist, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on December 11 in his article Vaccinations and Stalin’s System? What a Nuthouse … published in the Essence of Time newspaper.

A rigid governance system would have to show altruism, which is impossible without ideology. This means that it would have to show ideological charge. It would also have to show cohesion. Having shown all these three qualities – idealism, altruism, and cohesion it would immediately become mortally dangerous for everyone, “ said the expert.

Such a system would inevitably begin to threaten the political elite, its leader, the oligarchy, and the existing order of things in general, added the political scientist.

It will be impossible to set up such a system for dealing with the coronavirus and then take it apart, because after achieving what it must with mandatory vaccinations, it would take charge and start to act in every possible direction,” added Kurginyan.

Assembling such an administrative system is almost an impossible task in modern Russia, since it would require bringing together millions of people who have the necessary experience of working in the repressive system, shaped by the existing reality and at the same time possessing ideological charge, devotion, and solidarity, explained the analyst.

“The chances of this happening are as great as me ending up at another planet by the time I finish writing this article. Everyone knows this. Everyone, except for the nuthouse,” summed up the leader of the Essence of Time.

A more rigid system of government that is called for by certain Russian officials is incompatible with corruption and lawlessness, noted the political scientist. At the same time, it is fully compatible with private property, capitalistic means of gaining wealth, so desired by the modern Russian elite.

On December 3, a RIA Novosti source reported that the United Russia party faction in the State Duma, the Russian parliament, had sent out a party mailing, which contained guidelines for discussing the vaccination against COVID with the opponents. In this mailing, it said that if we have lived during Stalin’s time, they would treat anti-vaxxers as co-conspirators of the “the bigots plot” and shot them dead in every region of the country in accordance with the central plan. If we have lived during Khrushchev, “they would have been exiled as the agents of imperialism.” Under Brezhnev, “they would have been locked up in a psychiatric institutions and in accordance with a decree of the Central Committee of Soviet Union’s Communist Party, the Internet would have been cut off as a source of ‘enemy propaganda’.”
