The Ukrainian army has launched an offensive in several areas of Donbass, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing on 25 November.
Zakharova said that the situation in Donbass is very alarming, and the situation is escalating. The Ukrainian authorities are in favor of a forceful solution to the internal Ukrainian crisis, probably due to a sense of complete impunity.
“Information continues to come in about the use of weapons banned by the Minsk Agreements, which are supplied to Ukraine by NATO countries,” she said.
According to her, reports of the special monitoring mission reported an offensive by the Ukrainian army in the area of Granitnoye and Staromariyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Zakharova also said that Kiev continues to sabotage its commitments under the Minsk agreements.
Russia’s permanent representative to the contact group, Boris Gryzlov, stated that the Ukrainian army in Donbass continues shelling civilians and infrastructure. Kyiv has also been publicly talking about the use of drone strikes.
