Belarus has unleashed a hybrid war against Poland, and it is instigating a migration crisis in the country, Polish prime minister’s office head Michał Dworczyk said on the air of the TVP Info channel on September 7, Regnum news agency reports.
“Poland is under attack. The Belarusian authorities are waging a hybrid war against our country. Therefore, defense is not only our right, but it is our obligation,” the Polish politician made a hostile statement, complaining that many opposition forces do not support his patriotic position.
The head of the PM’s office also predicted deterioration at the Polish-Belarusian border due to the West-2021 joint Belarusian-Russian military exercise.
“The West-2021 exercise will take place in Belarus near our borders. Therefore, we must be prepared for provocations,” the official said.
On September 6, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Poland Maciej Wonsik said that the President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko is responsible for organizing the migration crisis ща refugees fleeing from Africa and Middle East across the Belarusian-Polish border.
