Kurginyan urges to help the Afghan government in to contain Islamism

27.07.2021, Aleksandrovskoye.

The Afghanistan central government deserves sympathy for opposing the Islamists from the Taliban (an organization banned in Russia), said political scientist, philosopher, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on July 15 on the Tema program on the Donetsk Union TV channel.

According to the political scientist, the Afghan government is the only force that’s taking the country out of its medieval state, which in itself is a destabilization factor in the region.

“Afghanistan had already transitioned to a medieval state … You know, once Clinton said to Serbia, “We will bomb you into the dark ages! ..”Afghanistan does not need to be bombed into the dark ages – it is already there! Such a transition, this formation of the Dark Ages is bad news for us. The Dark Ages are not stable, they cannot be friendly,” explained the expert.

According to the political scientist, the medieval type of a state buys stability within itself through expansion outside. Therefore, trusting the Taliban (an organization banned in Russia), which promises peace, means being trapped in harmful illusions.

And the fact that the Taliban (an organization banned in Russia) officials are now traveling around the world and saying to everyone, ‘We are not going anywhere, we are good, and we are nice, just recognize us,’ is, of course, a temporary Islamic tactic that can turn into anything,” explained Kurginyan.

The leader of the Essence of Time movement also appreciated the assurance to end the drug production that the Taliban (an organization banned in Russia) representatives make.

“If you can imagine that the Taliban (an organization banned in Russia) will seize Afghanistan and begin building wealth, organizing it as a transit territory – of course, it will be due to the drug trade. Therefore, all this talk about how the Taliban (an organization banned in Russia) is actually against drugs, of course, it’s all a great lie,” emphasized Kurginyan.

The Taliban (an organization banned in Russia) has “everything under control” in regards to drug trade, noted the expert.
