Kurginyan urges to assess the actual scope of the COVID-19 threat

The actual threat from COVID-19 is serious, but the global response to it among politicians and the medical community is disproportional to the challenge, political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said in his article “On what is on the horizon” published on July 8 in the Essence of Time newspaper.

According to Kurginyan, the current global official narrative threatens people with the danger of coronavirus in order to make them vaccinate. In this situation, the actual scope of the problem must first be determined.

The analyst reminded that every person faces various problems every day, to which he has to respond, be it catching a cold or a minor burn. It is unlikely that anyone would run to a burn center to demand hospitalization after a minor burn.

However, the expert indicates, this accumulated everyday experience and common sense disappear when one is “told persistently that the problem is global,” and becomes victim of global panic.

“Demanding an assessment of the scope of the threat, like many other concerned experts, I do not want to lessen its scope. From the very beginning, I remain convinced that COVID-19 is a very serious disease. And I grow more and more convinced that it is so.

But if the scope of the threat is, say, one hundred units, and you are told that the scope is ten thousand or even one million units, how would you react to such an overestimation? As to an honest mistake or to a massive con job?” Kurginyan explained.

Commenting on a possible argument that one cannot deceive all the governments on the globe, the political scientist noted that in the world today “too many things are sold and bought, without any regard for moral factors.” On the other hand, too many people demonstrate submission under even minimal pressure.
