Russian social organizations demand that Putin stop forced vaccinations

25.06.2021, Moscow.

Representatives of the country’s public organizations petitioned Russian President Vladimir Putin to stop forced vaccination against COVID-19, Rossa Primavera News Agency published the petition on June 24.

“In your public speeches, particularly in December 2020, during SPIEF-2021, you have repeatedly emphasized that vaccination against the new coronavirus infection in Russia can only be voluntary,” the authors of the petition from RIA Katusha reminded the Russian president.

The authors of the petition note that most of the country’s citizens also do not support forced vaccination, which, in fact, is introduced by decisions of medical officials and regional authorities in the various constituent territories of the Russian Federation.

“We believe that the vaccination campaign launched by Sergei Sobyanin, Anna Popova and others… is an obvious undermining of the people’s remaining trust in the federal government and an activity aimed, we believe, at organizing a possible coup d’etat,” the petition states.

The authors of the petition demand removing Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin and Head of Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare Anna Popova from their posts, ordering the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office to cancel all decisions to force population to be vaccinated against COVID-19, and to prohibit “intrusive advertising of vaccination and covid hysteria” as well:

“Instruct the Ministry of Health to initiate serious medical forums with the mandatory involvement of domestic and foreign experts, independent of global pharmaceutical corporations.”

The authors call on the Russian citizens to sign the petition to stop forced vaccination against coronavirus.
