A Russian serviceman died and three were wounded after an infantry vehicle of Russian forces exploded in the Syrian province of Hasaka, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry informed on June 9.
The infantry mobility vehicle exploded on an unspecified explosive device in al-Asadiya village, which is located on the line separating the positions of Syrian forces, the SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) forces, Turkish forces and other Turkish-backed armed groups in the northern countryside of Abu Rasin in Hasaka province.
The injured servicemen were taken to the hospital in Derbasiya, where they are being treated.
The incident occurred on June 9 while checking a patrolling route of Russian military police.
