The US has organized an anti-Russian alliance in Northern Europe, said political scientist, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on May 26 on the Evening with Vladimir Solovyov program on Russia One channel.
The US is competing for the Arctic, while acting like it is concerned about climate change, explained the political scientist.
“Climate is one thing, but what’s the key point of climate? It’s the Arctic! And rediculous things are happening in the Arctic,” noted Kurginyan.
The US is competing for the Arctic primarily with China, added the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
“Inside of this, Arctic insanity, another phenomenon is taking place under huge pressure from the US: ‘Russians, don’t you dare drag China into this. Do not dare to drag it in there, one way other another. If only you dare to try, something serious is going happen’,” explained the political scientist.
The US is well entrenched in the previously neutral Norway, stressed the expert. Kurginyan also pointed at Polish provocations in the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline construction zone. Poland seeks to claim control over the Yamal – Europe pipeline, which connects natural gas fields in Western Siberia and in the future on the Yamal peninsula, Russia, with Germany’s section of the gas pipeline, explains the expert.
“Inside all this, the US’ and its small northern fist are emerging, and obviously it is directed at us, and Belarus,” concluded Kurginyan.
