Underground facilities used by the terrorist organization Islamic State (organization banned in Russia) were destroyed by the Russian army, the video of the operation was published on May 15 by the site Russian Spring.
The video shows the Russian Aerospace Forces’ combat aircraft delivering pinpoint strikes on an ammunition depot. The site reported that up to 20 terrorists were killed as a result of the strikes. The operation also helped prevent terrorist attacks in Palmyra before the upcoming presidential elections in Syria, which are scheduled for May 26.
Earlier it was reported that the Syrian army, with the support of the Russian Aerospace Forces, eliminated 338 terrorists and more than 80 of their facilities and shelters.
