Eyewitnesses to the Odessa massacre will speak at an informal meeting of the UN Security Council on May 5, First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Dmitry Polyanskiy said on his Twitter account on May 2.

Polyanskiy said that the UN Security Council will hold an Arria formula meeting next week –an informal meeting for a frank exchange of views. In addition to the Odessa massacre, other crimes of the Ukrainian nationalists will be discussed.

“Witnesses who survived this ordeal will be briefing,” Polansky wrote.

On May 2, 2014, in Odessa, Ukrainian radicals burned supporters of the federalization of Ukraine in the House of Trade Unions. As a result, according to the official version, 48 people were killed and 240 were injured.
