Russia must counteract any attempts by the US or any other actor attempts to create chaos in place of major nation states, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on March 28 on the air of the Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov TV program on the Russia One channel.
According to the political scientist, the main ideology of the USA today is postmodernism, and Washington has declared nation states that pursue development in the framework of Modernity to be its main enemy.
“The ideology [of the USA] today is that Modernity, national development by strong national leaders and a national bourgeoisie, is its main enemy. It used to be communism; and now that it has been removed, this is the main enemy,” Kurginyan described the current situation.
The political scientist stressed that “this postmodernity will never work without archaicism.” “Therefore, it will democratize Modernity,” the expert added.
“Democratization” of nation states that postmodernists are performing is a tool to destroy and archaicize them. For the Middle East, this “democratization” results in the formation of ISIL-style (organization banned in Russia) radical Islamist groups on their territory, and it launches other destabilizing processes.
Postmodernity “likes this, and it welcomes this,” the expert stressed.
Kurginyan reminded that appart from the US, Turkey also demonstrates this kind of behavior which is another illustration to the global nature of the destabilization game, in which Russia has to find its own strategy.
“Look as Erdoğan: he is apparently playing with the Chinese in full swing. Does he support the Uighurs? He does. Why does he not softly move away from supporting the Uighurs? Because the game is to destabilize these major countries that seek prosperity, and create chaos in their place using radical Islamism etc. This is the ‘happy’ world that the future is bringing us. And we need to find a response to it,” the political scientist concluded.
The Uighurs are a Turkic-speaking ethnicity living in the northwest of China. The ideologists of Pan-Turanism believe it to be part of a united Turkic entity, and they propose for a huge Turkic state, “The Great Turan,” to be created, which would incorporate all the territories populated by Turkic-speaking peoples.
According to pan-Turanists, these territories include major territories in the Russian Federation. The official Ankara has been supporting the pan-Turanism ideology over the recent years.
