Ukrainian troops opened fire on the villages of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) four times during the day, the press service of the DPR representative office at the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination informed on March 16.
“Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian army violated the permanent ceasefire four times,” the statement reads.
The enemy opened fire of the areas of Zhabunki and Aleksandrovka (Donetsk direction), as well as Sakhanka and Leninskoye (Mariupol direction) villages.
The Ukrainian side used BMP infantry fighting vehicle and APC armored personnel carrier main guns, grenade launchers and small arms. In addition, the snipers were active.
On March 15, the DPR reported that the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire twice during the day. The fire was opened on the areas of Gorlovka and the village of Leninskoye. Mortars, grenade launchers and a combat drone were used.
