Kurginyan: Mormons in Russia have become US agents, but remain untouchable

10.03.2021, Aleksandrovkoye.

After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the Russian elite’s aspiration to “join Western civilization” required it to accept all the offers by the West, political scientist, leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on March 8 in a special broadcast of his The Meaning of the Game analytical program.

In fact, the place of each person in Russian society was determined by the number of offers he personally received from the West, the political analyst explained.

“If for example, the West offers you to become a Mormon, that is, to join an authoritativeWestern religious organization, how should you respond to this offer? You should of course accept the offer. And proudly display your affiliation with the West, resulting from this acceptance, to those around you. And those around you must gasp in admiration and say, ‘What a proper, effective, and necessary person this is for our society! The blessed West itself has accepted him, making him a bishop of its authoritative Mormon church!’,” Kurginyan noted.

Then, when the West explicitly and unambiguously showed that the only acceptable option regarding the future of Russia is its destruction, everything should have changed. But so far, these changes are “quite significant, but not entirely conspicuous,” the analyst adds.

“In the face of such changes, Mormons should turn from authoritative representatives of the blessed West into what they are: outright US agents, seeking to secure US goals regarding the destruction of Russia. But the Mormon Church in Russia and the CIS is preserved in the form of that very institution of a blessed pro-Western existence,” Kurginyan stressed.

He added that besides Mormons, there are a number of other American or European major religious organizations that have enormous power and have by no means stopped pursuing the tasks drawn by their Western masters.
