The West is supporting Navalny not to bring him to power but to provoke a war with Russia, philosopher and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on February 16 on the air of the Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov TV program on the Russia One channel.
“You don’t promote your protege this way, if you want his political victory. And you select a different kind of person if you want him to win. You have to fit the context.” said Kurginyan.
The political scientist reminded that Yeltsin’s visit to the US in 1989 matched the mood in Russian society, when a huge part of the people had pro-American sentiments.
But now this majority hates the West. In this regard, the political scientist poses a question: why has the West supported Navalny so strongly and openly?
“So, they want to show us a person, who can only be accepted here if the people are broken down and fall on knees. He cannot be accepted in any normal situation.” This is how Kurginyan commented the West’s actions in the Navalny case.
According to Kurginyan, the West works with Navalny in such a way as to make him completely unacceptable for Russia, and then the same West actively pushes him into Russian politics. “What does the West want in the end? War,” concluded Kurginyan.
