The recent events in the USA are comparable to the last century of the Roman Empire, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said in an interview to the Union channel of Donetsk.
The Democratic and the Republican parties of the USA equally hate Russia; however, the members of the Democratic Party traditionally focus more on foreign policy, Kurginyan commented the future relations between the USA and Russia.
“This is really reminiscent of the last century of the Roman Empire,” the leader of the Essence of Time movement said. Kurginyan reminded that in the time of Great Rome, every new emperor had his lobbyists around him, and their interests were often a greater priority that those of the Empire.
“[The new emperor] says, ‘I need the British mines, let us seize them.’ Legions go there, no one understands why, and then a new emperor says, ‘No, let them go to Romania, to Dacia,’” Kurginyan offered an example.
The United States is still an empire, powerful and sick, and this is why it “will perform all this,” Kurginyan stressed.
The only solution for Russia and its allies is to develop an autonomous economy and to transform its life to a mobilizational model, the leader of Essence of Time concluded.
