The collective West made a serious mistake by trying to replace society with an information society, said political scientist and professor at the National Research University Higher School of Economics Dmitriy Evstafyev on December 21 on the air of the Vesti FM radio.
“The worst thing that is happening in Europe is that power and control over the digital society is being transferred from the state to corporations, which are starting to decide how you live, what you eat, what information you get,” the professor said.
In this regard, he believes that the process of “strengthening state control over the digital society” is a positive one.
“We must clearly understand, by the way, here the collective West made a very serious mistake, that the digital information environment is not yet a society, it is one element of society, because the West in principle decided to replace the society with this information society,” Evstafyev said.
He noted that Klaus Schwab and the people behind him proposed a new project – very dangerous, because what will be built is a pure chimera. “It is not the ethnic, not the ethno-religious one that Gumilev described but a biotechnological chimera. In this chimera, humans are not needed, not needed at all, we are not even batteries in this chimera. But the state as a product of the people, at least some protection from this ‘Shvabrani’,” the expert concluded.
