US President Donald Trump can split the US elite and continue to put pressure on the Democratic candidate Joe Biden for a long time, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on November 22 on the air of the Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov TV program on the Russia One channel.
According to the political scientist, the Republicans’ intentions are more serious than one could expect. “Trump and his team plan to challenge Biden’s victory quite seriously. More seriously than one could expect,” Sergey Kurginyan stressed.
He noted that in the current circumstances Trump has a chance to turn the situation in his favor or seriously split the elite. “He will either be able to do something with this, which is rather unlikely, or, even if he fails, he will seriously split the US political system, and then he will actually control certain part of it as a factor influencing Biden after he wins,” the political scientist noted.
According to the expert, the long-running post-election processes are indicative of a serious division in the elite, because at all the previous elections the outcome became clear by this moment.
“This is a very serious process. Usually, by this time any shouts like ‘we did not lose, we won’ would have faded. Now, if we plot it as a mathematical curve, they are on the rise. Usually, by this time the number of people willing to join in with this shouts would have dramatically dropped. The establishment would have taken one of the sides. Today we cannot see any process like that,” he stressed.
Kurginyan suggested that the level of falsifications in favor of the Democratic candidate gave the Republican an effective leverage to influence the situation as well as a hope for victory.
“In any event, we see that the US is split by this conflict, and this split is serious. I think that they have got evidence of certain falsifications, more serious one than we could expect. And this evidence encourages the Republican elite to fight to the end,” Kurginyan concluded.
Although the US elections took place as far back as on November 3, and US experts and media has already called Joe Biden the winner of the presidential elections, Donald Trump has not recognized that he lost.
Trump’s team has filed dozens of lawsuits, but it has not won any serious victory.
