Millions of educated and cultured people emerged in Russia thanks to the Bolsheviks’ actions, philosopher Timofey Sergeytsev said on November 9 on the Vesti FM radio broadcast.
The philosopher noted that at the time of the Great October Socialist Revolution, there were several tens of thousands educated people in Russia.
He specified that he meant people who read Russian literature and poetry, listened to Russian music, worked in science and so on.
“As a result of the Bolsheviks’ activity, we had millions of cultured and educated people. And it was impossible to brought them under the control. As the German people, led by their leader Hitler, were going to do in 1941,” Sergeytsev concluded.
On November 9, philosopher Timofey Sergeytsev stated that the Soviet project was aimed at people’s ascension to high culture. Due to this very orientation and uniqueness, he emphasized, the Soviet Union defeated fascism and took the leading position in many fields.
