The Bolsheviks stood out because they assumed the responsibility for building the state, philosopher Timofey Sergeytsev said on November 9 on the air of the “Vesti FM” radio broadcast.

“The Bolsheviks stood out by the fact that they have assumed the responsibility for building the state,” said the philosopher.

In his opinion, if one takes over the power, then at such a scale of the country, one will inevitably be forced to build a state apparatus.

The expert added that Vladimir Lenin explained to the Bolsheviks a simple thing – that you should take the power, because it was completely nullified, it simply did not exist.

“And moreover, no one else can take it. Because no one is ready, either morally or organizationally, or theoretically or practically. And that, no matter how hard it is, it must be done,” Sergeytsev concluded.

On November 9, the philosopher Timofey Sergeytsev stated that the whole elite, including the military, as well as part of the intelligentsia and nobility, officials and the bourgeoisie.

The philosopher emphasized that neither Bolsheviks nor Lenin had anything to do with the overthrow of Nicholas II.
