Unknown persons opened fire on a US military base in eastern Deir Ez-Zor province using mortars on August 31, a Rossa Primavera News Agency’s source in Syria informs.
An illegal US base at the Koniko field in eastern Deir Ez-Zor was attacked. The unidentified persons fired two 120mm mortar shells on the base.
According to the source, none of the American contingent was injured as a result of the shelling. The facilities of the base were damaged.
