“Sworn partners” declares war on the memory of Soviet soldiers’ heroic feat

18.06.2020, Vilnius.

“Partners” from the USA, Great Britain and France, who had armed and sent troops of united Nazi Europe against the Soviet Union in the 40s of the last century, launched a “fierce information war” against Russia, said Lithuanian human rights activist Jonas Kovalskis on June 14 in an interview with a Rossa Primavera News Agency’s correspondent.

According to Kovalskis, “Russia made a decisive contribution to the victory over unified Nazi Western Europe in 1945,” despite the consolidated efforts of bankers from the U.S., Britain and France, dreaming of destroying the USSR.

“Now the Western ‘sworn partners’ unleashed a fierce information war against the memory of the Soviet soldiers’ heroic feat in World War II, and in this, in fact, Russophobic war, the defeated parties do not hesitate to use any, even the meanest, means” said the human rights activist.

In this regard, the main task of the modern generation of “heirs to the Great Victory” is to protect the honor of their “heroic ancestors-winners,” said the Lithuanian expert. Kowalskis believes that nowadays, saving the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War for future descendants becomes “essential and important for all.”
