A massive formation of 75 helicopters and airplanes flew over Moscow’s Red Square in honour of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Moscow 24 TV channel informs on May 9.
Mi-26, Mi-8AMTSh, Mi-35M, Ka-52, Mi-28H helicopters took part in formation flying. Later one, A-50U, Il-76MD airplanes, Tu-95MC bombers, Tu-22MZ nuclear bombers, Tu-160 missile carrier, Su-57 and MiG-31 fighter jets were seen in the sky of Moscow. Two Su-25 fighters, which stained the sky in the colours of the Russian flag, were the last in the flypast.
The aerobatic demonstration teams of the Russian Air Force “The Russian Knights” and “The Swifts” operated the groups of five Su-30SM fighters and 4 MiG-29 fighters flying at a speed of 500 km/h. The jets demonstrated Kubinsky Diamond in flight.
