25.02.2019, Donetsk.

The Ukrainian military fired off 28 mortars and 20 automatic cannon shells against the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) over 24 hours, the DPR representative at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said. On February 24, the report was published on the JCCC official website.

The Ukrainian military thereby violated the Minsk agreements on de-escalation in Donbass as well as other agreements on ceasefire. Over the past 24 hours, the ceasefire was violated 20 times, with the Ukrainian military using not only mortars and shells (in a 20-round burst), but also ammunition with caliber less than 12,7 mm.

Damage to civilian infrastructure has not been reported.

The report records violations committed from 03:00 (Moscow time) of the previous day to 03:00 of the current day. The previous report says that the Ukrainian military used 66 rounds of ammunition.

On December 27, 2018, the parties of the conflict had agreed on the implementation of a permanent ceasefire since December 29. However, the Ukrainian military violated it on the first day, on December 30, the JCCC reported.
