A representative of Sexpo Foundation called unacceptable and unprofessional the disapproval by the director of one of the Finnish schools of excessive sexuality in children, Finnish state-owned Yle TV and radio channel reported on January 9.
School director from a small town of Sysmä north of Lahti, Tuula Vuorinen gave an interview to Yle journalists who were interested in “disappointing bullying statistics” at this school, the report says.
Commenting on the situation, the director said that the reason for bullying a teenager by schoolmates is often the teenager’s provocative sexuality demonstration by dressing and behaving.
For example, according to the director, even“12-year-olds are beginning to say that they are gay or lesbian or something like that.” Moreover, this is accompanied by a “strange manner to dress,” which causes “irritation, anger, and even fear in other schoolchildren.”
The schoolmates’ emotional response to such behavior is perceived, as they say, as mockery and discrimination.
Evaluating the words of the school director, sexologist Tiia Forsström, Sexpo Foundation chairwoman, said that they “are unacceptable and unprofessional, and they show gaps in sex education and training of educational personnel.”
According to the sexologist, “children can become aware of their sexual orientation at an early age.” Therefore, she thinks that “disapproval and condemnation of pre-teenagers can lead to long-term problems with accepting themselves, their body, and sexuality.”
Anna Kulchitskaya, expert of the All-Russian Parents’ Resistance (the ARPR) organization said that sex education programs return a human being back to the beast state.
