Ukrainian forces shelled the suburbs of Gorlovka by artillery on June the 28th in the morning, reports Izvestia website citing Ruslan Yakubov, the representative of Donetsk People’s Republic
The area of Glubokaya mine bore the brunt of the strike. As result of ten hits with 122mm mortar shells and grenade launchers three houses were destroyed on the streets of Strozhka, Pereyaslavskaya, and Cherkasova. The information about possible victims is being specified.
The military confrontation began in spring 2014. Citizens of Donbass do not recognize the new authorities in Ukraine, which came to power as a result of a coup. On April 2018 Ukraine declared changing the format of the so-called “Anti-Terrorist Operation) to “Joint Forces Operation”.
