About 30 Islamists were killed and 20 were wounded near the Al-Hamamieyat, Maar Zeyta, and Tarmala localities, a source of the Rossa Primavera News Agency in Syria informed on April 27.According to the source, eliminated militants were members of Jaysh al-Izza (organization banned in Russia) and Jamaat Huras ad-Din (organization banned in Russia) terrorist groups. The source also informs that terrorist attacks against the village of Al-Hamamieyat were fended off.
Just recently, Islamists controlled a large part of the Syrian territory. Now it had been for the most part recaptured from Islamists. Nevertheless, the remains of the gangs consisting of religious fanatics are resisting fiercely. Fighting them is being seriously complicated due to ambiguous actions of the U.S. military and its allies.
