Kurginyan: Someone is pushing the world towards war

26.03.2018, Moscow.

Uneven development of nations in the era of imperialism inevitably leads to war, Sergey Kurginyan, a political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement, said on March 25 during Evening with Vladimir Soloviev TV-show on the Russia-1 TV-channel.

Sergey Kurginyan reminded the words of Vladimir Putin in Vladimir Solovjev’s film World Order-2018.

“By the way, there is a very interesting phrase that the protagonist (Vladimir Putin – Rossa Primavera News Agency’s note) of your film says, ‘I have a feeling that some forces brought us to this line’. You realize that this, not a conspiracy theorist speaking, the head of state says this. An extremely pragmatic man. Therefore, this feeling is based on something. And whether we are here talking about a deep state or something else – someone is pushing towards this war.”

Talks about the new world order and the possibility of war have been circulating at the highest levels of world politics for several years, the political scientist confirmed. “One of George Bush Sr.’s advisors, not George W. Bush’s, said that there will be a nuclear war in Europe“, when the possibility of an alliance between Russia and Germany, and the liberation of Europe from the influence of the U.S. was considered, Kurginyan said.

The war can be avoided if “absolutely new principles of the world’s existence can be found, something which has nothing to do with what was there before ”, Sergey Kurginyan commented.

During the discussion of the film, Sergey Kurginyan described the essence of the conflict, which is caused by uneven development.

“The world is edging towards an aggravated conflict, where the new powers (modern China is like Germany of 1912), in fact, are moving ahead, and the old ones do not want to concede,” the political scientist said.

According to Sergey Kurginyan, Russia will play a key role in resolving this conflict: “… the outlines of this world will be different and dependent on where it (Russia – Rossa Primavera News Agency’s note) turns and what it will be like.”

Vladimir Solovyov’s film World Order-2018, based on an interview with Vladimir Putin, was released online on March 7, 2018.
