31.08.2017, Iraq.

A women’s prison ran by terrorists was found in the city of Tal Afar in the north of Iraq, Iranian news website Pars Today reported on the 31st of August.

People’s militia and Iraqi police discovered the militants’ owned prison for women’s incarceration in al-Sa’ad neighborhood of the city in the course of mopping up the Iraqi city of Tal Afar from ISIL (organization banned in Russia) Islamists. Some rooms were used as torture cells inside that prison that was controlled by ISIL (organization banned in Russia) militants’ CCTV and seemed to be one of the central prisons of that Takfiri group, the statement reads.

Iraqi forces launched the Tal Afar liberation from ISIL (organization banned in Russia) militants operation on the 20th of August. Tal Afar currently is under almost full control of Iraqi Armed Forces.
