The US-led international coalition’s airstrike on Raqqa resulted in 7 children killed, Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) informs after the airstrike on August 4.

According to the Syrian news agency’s sources, 7 children and a woman,  all of them members of one family, were killed in the airstrike. There are also wounded Raqqa residents in addition to those killed. Houses were also severely damaged.

It is already the 44th airstrike on Raqqa during the past 48 hours.

This is not the first time when the US-led international coalition airstrike led to civilian casualties. On July 28th, over 50 residents in the al-Nahda quarter of Raqqa fell victims to an airstrike, and over 90 people were injured.

To add to this, the international coalition’s military actions undertaken under the pretext of fighting  ISIL (organization banned in Russia) in Syria are illegal, and they are being conducted without the consent and coordination with the Syrian authorities.
