Media: Coalition Airforce strikes area west of Raqqa, 15 civilians killed

The airstrike was meant to support the offensive of the Arab-Kurdish units from Syrian Democratic Forces organization on the capital of ISIL (organization banned in Russia), the city of Raqqa.

Reportedly, it is not the first airstrike that led to civilian casualties. Earlier 22 people were killed (all of them civilians) by a bombing by the antiterrorist coalition] led by the US.

Raqqa was occupied by ISIL terrorists (organization banned in Russia) in August 2013. A year later, the head of terrorists Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi claimed it the capital of the new Caliphate. Starting from November 6, Kurdish forces with the support of US Air Forces are conducting the offensive against the city.

Irina Popova, a civic activist and a founder of the Forum, read out a statement on behalf of the forum participants. She said that in her home town of Mariupol there is a huge number of people, who have suffered at the hands of punishers from nationalist battalions and the Ukrainian security forces. Hundreds of people have disappeared or died, were injured or were raped, suffered abuse and torture. She also said that there was one terrible place in Mariupol, which residents try to bypass in horror. This is the city airport, which currently has become a zone of torture and murder. A number of ruthless executions have taken place there.

Forum participants also told of the torture at the Mariupol airport and the rape which is perpetrated in the basement of School No. 62.

The Forum participants compared the actions of the Ukrainian authorities to the actions of the fascist regimes in Nazi Germany, Franco in Spain, and various Latin American fascist juntas. They stated the need for a new Nuremberg Military Tribunal, but this time in order to condemn crimes against humanity in Ukraine. Evidence of crimes against children on the territories controlled by Kiev, was mentioned separately.

The Forum participants adopted a resolution on the creation of the Mariupol Rescue Forum, a civic organization in the DPR. This Forum is designed to help the affected residents of Mariupol and other cities within the framework of the Humanitarian Program for the reunification of the peoples of Donbass.

Washington Post: Pentagon overestimated its expenses in order to train opposition militants in the Syrian Arab Republic

As a result of overstating the cost to purchase fuel for the US armed forces, the Pentagon has received about $ 6 billion in surplus over the past six years.

Some of the money received through this scheme was spent on training militants of the Syrian armed opposition, “Since 2015, the Defense Department has tapped surpluses from its fuel accounts for $80 million to train Syrian rebels, $450 million to shore up a prescription-drug program riddled with fraud.”

According to the publication, the US Defense Department similarly sought funding to cover “unanticipated expenses … in Afghanistan” for a total of over 1.4 billion dollars.
